This e-bike tour will let you discover the ancient connecting roads between Sorrento and Massa Lubrense.
The route winds through the olive and lemon groves typical of our area, along roads and paths that our grandparents used to travel. We will bike immersed in the sounds of nature, away from the chaos
and typical tourist itineraries. During the tour, we will stop at “Il Convento”, a farmhouse surrounded
by a lemon grove where we will stop to taste one of the symbol products of the Sorrento Coast: the famous limoncello, strictly prepared with IGP Sorrento lemon following the traditional recipe.

Mount Faito tour requires true passion: it is only suitable for serious bikers and, above all, trained athletes.
The tour will starts from Meta di Sorrento; we will take highway SS 145 northbound. After a 3-km uphill road, we will turn right and take a local road that will lead us to Monti Lattari; where we will stop to take some picture of the landscape, always spectacular no matter the weather conditions. Then we will keep biking. After approximately 20 km, we will arrive in Moiano, a small hamlet of Vico Equense. Then we will take the path that will lead us to the peak; approximately 7 km of pure adrenaline leading us to the plain of Mount Faito. The view from the peak is beyond words: we will enjoy a break looking at the breathtaking landscape, immersed in the sounds of nature.
After the break, even if sorry to leave this natural oasis, we will go back downwards the same way until the ending point of the tour.

This itinerary starts from Sorrento passing along all the small towns of the Sorrentine Peninsula reaching than Meta di Sorrento. From this point will start the first difficult phase of the tour: a 5 km uphill road with a slope of 4-5% until the hamlet of Colli di San Pietro reaching, at the end, the starting point of Highway 163 towards Amalfi.
Then you will bike along the amazing and curvy roads of the Amalfi Coast passing through the famous towns of Praiano and the colorful Positano until reaching the Amalfi.
Along the way, for about 2-3 km, you will find alternating down and uphill roads, with slopes of 4-5%, a 20 km overlooking the Gulf of Salerno.
Once arrived in Amalfi, you will have about 30 min of free time to stroll along its traditional alleys and perhaps, visit the beautiful Saint Andrew Cathedral and its marvelous Cloister of Paradise. Go back to Sorrento biking along the same way.

Leaving from Sorrento and passing through the small towns of the peninsula will reach Meta di Sorrento biking along an uphill road that starts near the church dedicated to “Madonna del Lauro” (Holy Mary of Laurel).
The 5-km road has a slope of 4-5% until the hamlet of Colli di San Pietro, then we will go downwards taking highway SS 163 towards the amazingAmalfi Coast. The first section of the highway is curvy and goes downwards with a breathtaking view; it will be hard not to be tempted to stop and take a picture!
Before getting to Positano, the road goes upwards for 1.5 km, here you will have free time to enjoy the many panoramic points and strolling along the small alleys.
After the visit, we will go back to Sorrento along the same way until the crossroads with the highway where we will turn left, heading to the highest point of the Sorrento Peninsula, the Sant’Angelo peak.
This one will be a tough road too, for serious climbers, but it is not long. We will briefly stop at the peak to enjoy a wonderful view of both the Gulfs of Naples and Salerno..

Departure from Sorrento or Massa Lubrense direction Sant’Agata sui due Golfi where we will arrive biking along the old mule tracks of the Sorrento Peninsula.
Along the way, we will stop in a small hamlet part of Massa Lubrense getting into the heart of the bike tour visiting a typical holiday farm. Here we will have the chance to witness the Mozzarella and Caciottina production steps and to taste local cured meats and, above all, the renowned Provolone del Monaco D.O.P.
We will also taste the real fresh homemade lemon juice, marmalades on melba toasts, and own-produced extra virgin olive oil on homemade bread. This food and wine bike tour will let you discover unknown and uncontaminated corners of our land, far from mass tourism, overlooking unforgettable landscapes.
The aim of this tour is to combine nature & sport and this is possible just in a small town like Massa Lubrense, far from crowded places with natural beauties everywhere!

Morning departure from Sorrento (with a minivan) towards Torre Annunziata, a town located ate the foot of Mount Vesuvius where the tour will begin.
You will bike along the coastal road before reach the Sleeping Giant well-known all over the world for its explosive energy!
Once reached the top of the mountain, leave your bike to visit by walk the crater
enjoying amazing views of the valley downhill and learning more about Mt Vesuvius geology, nature, and its role in history.
After the visit, we will go back to the departure point by van.
